2007 NSCAA North Atlantic All Region List 

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Siena men's soccer back Liam Welsh was selected to the NSCAA/Adidas North Atlantic All-Region Third Team announced this afternoon by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Welsh, a 2007 First Team All-MAAC honoree, started all 20 games for the Saints and helped anchor the Siena defensive unit leading to four shutouts this season.

Welsh, a second year team captain, appeared in 73 games over his career which ties for second all-time in program history. At the conclusion of his freshman season, Welsh was named Rookie of the Year. In 2006, he was selected to the Second Team All-MAAC for his efforts playing the midfield. Only 13 student-athletes from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference were named to a NSCAA/Adidas North Atlantic All-Region Team.
